Mary’s sculpture, which calls out to her Holy Girl, is a universal emblem of motherhood and a reminder of the simplicity and vivid essence of life itself.
The Basilica of the National Shrine of Mary, Queen of the Rosary Garden of the World, is an attraction of its own. Featuring a stone path set in the form of a rosary surrounded by beautifully cultivated flowers, small ponds and other lush landscapes, the Rosary Garden was designed in honor of the patron sanctuary, Pope John Paul II.
