Three Kings Celebration
To honor and respect the tradition of Latin-speaking countries, all families in Latin-American countries are invited to celebrate the arrival of three wise men with the SeaWorld Orlando and to hold a ceremony to be appreciated.
For many Christians in Spain and Latin America, the holiday season officially ends on January 6, which is the 12th day of Christmas known as the Feast of the Epiphany, or Three Kings’ Day. The holiday celebrates the biblical tale in which the Three Kings, or Three Wise Men, visit baby Jesus after his birth.
Today, children celebrate Three Kings’ Day by receiving gifts of their own. Children in Spain and Latin America are instructed to leave their shoes by the door of their house so, like Santa Claus, the three kings can come and leave them presents. Many families also leave gifts of salt or grass for the camels that the Three Kings are said to ride in on, similar to the milk and cookies kids leave for Santa Clause during Christmas.
Parades and performances are also typical on Three Kings’ day. For families in Spain and Latin America, Three Kings’ Day is as important and as widely celebrated as Christmas.
Elmo’s Birthday Weekend
Dates in February
Celebrate Elmo’s birthday with meet and greets, an interactive DJ party, and even more surprises.
SeaWorld is the place to be for Elmo’s Birthday Celebration, featuring an interactive DJ dance party, fun party games and surprise visitors. Don’t miss this weekend-long party for Elmo as we prepare to welcome our brand new Sesame Street at SeaWorld in the spring of 2020!
Today is Elmo’s birthday! He is the favorite red monster from Sesame Street – always friendly, playful, and lively. We adore him for his cute giggle and adventurous ways. Many different people have played Elmo over the years, with his first appearance being in 1972.
Elmo was such a popular character that he was given his segment, called Elmo’s World. This furry monster always refers to himself in the third person. He has a large family, including a goldfish named Dorothy. His favorite toy that he often carries around is a monster doll, and he loves his blue blanket. Elmo loves almost all foods, especially wasabi, but hates Brussels sprouts!
To celebrate this beloved character’s birthday, watch an episode of Sesame Street or Elmo’s World, and enjoy some spicy wasabi while you watch. You can also celebrate by sending one of our free online Sesame Street invitations for an upcoming party!

It’s back again for 2019 every weekend between Feb. 9 and May 5. New this year, the festival will also be available to guests Friday evenings from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., beginning Feb. 15.
Throughout the park, numerous food and beverage locations featuring global cuisine, craft brews, and specialty cocktails. The event also includes fun concerts and typically gorgeous weather … what more could you ask for? With a collection of booths highlighting seaside culinary styles from around the world and top-of-the-line entertainment, you have a theme park vacation win-win. Not to mention, all of this fun is included with regular park admission!
Top Five Reasons To Visit SeaWorld Seven Seas Food Festival
1. The Food, of course!
We think SeaWorld’s Seven Seas Food Festival is on par with Epcot’s many food and beverage events. The selection is outstanding, and prices are fair considering the nice portion sizes. While we aren’t normally very food-venturous froggies, when we last visited we took a walk on the wild side and didn’t come across a single item we didn’t love. We’re looking forward to seafood such as the Sea Scallops Provençal, and delicious meat such as the Cinnamon Slow Roasted Pork Belly. You can’t go wrong. And don’t get me started on desserts — Hawaiian Pineapple Dream Cake, anyone?
2. Attractive Drinks
No kidding — SeaWorld is officially my favorite place for “adult” beverages. There are plenty of other yummy concoctions on the fruity side, such as a watermelon lime margarita. If cocktails aren’t your fancy, hop in Leap’s footsteps by sipping on the seemingly infinite number of craft beers throughout the park. There is plenty of wine to choose from as well, plus specialty booths offering sake and tequila tasting.
3. Kid-friendly Food Options
There are new tastes for everyone to enjoy, even your picky tadpoles. Play it safe with the All-American Market, where our tadpoles enjoyed the Bacon Hot Dog Slider … or think outside the box with something exciting they’re sure to love, such as the Bingsu Salted Vanilla Ice Cream from the Asian Market. (This caramel popcorn-topped dessert was one of my past favorites.) There are tons of options to expand their horizons and help them learn about food in different cultures!
4. Engaging Entertainment
Every Saturday and Sunday throughout the Seven Seas Food Festival, Bay side Stadium hosts awesome concerts fun for the whole family. So far, all of the performances announced are taking place at 6 p.m. unless otherwise noted.
Below you can see the concert bands. The date of the presence of these bands in the park is also mentioned.
v Feb. 10 – Sugar Ray
v Feb. 16 – Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons
v Feb. 17 – Little River band
v Feb 23 – Flo Rida
v Feb. 24 – 98 Degrees
v March 2 – Lifehouse

v March 9 – Lee Brice with LOCASH (5 p.m.)
v March 10 – I love the 90s, featuring En Vogue, Kid N Play, Coolio, Tone Loc, Rob Base and Young MC (5:00 p.m. start time)
v March 16 – Bret Michaels
v March 17 – Gente de Zona
Throughout the day, smaller bands and performers can be found throughout the park as well. Be sure to stop by and enjoy between snacking!
5. Revving Engines
Orlando Harley-Davidson returns once again as a sponsor for the event, and we look forward to seeing some of the hottest vehicles in town. Leap and Tad loved snapping selfies with the cool cars and motorcycles at special photo spots throughout the festival area, and we’ll have to see if they again. We even got to see a Back to the Future-style ride from the Delorean Club of Florida. This was a fun addition to an already awesome event.
Late May through early September
Electric Ocean is your family’s electrifying destination for the ultimate nighttime celebration. Summer nights at SeaWorld have never been brighter!
The Electric Ocean Event went live the first week of May and will return Memorial Day weekend on May 25th. This means the park will open longer and allow guests to travel into an exotic underwater world, where they can expect electrifying dance, lights, music, and sparks as the sunsets. Guests should also expect plenty of new food and drink options throughout the park, and a family-friendly dance party right before “Ignite” lights up their sky with a firework finale. Electric Ocean is included with park admission and takes place on select nights May 25 – September 2.

4th of July
Enjoy fireworks spectacular and more.
SeaWorld celebrates the 4th of July each year with a fireworks show set to patriotic music. The fireworks show takes place at the Waterfront section at the center of the park at Bay side Stadium where fountains light up and dance in addition to the fireworks. A patriotic-inspired show featuring the 13th Army Band, Florida National Guard will perform at the stadium that is topped off with a special Fourth of July firework display.
Craft Beer Festival
Four weekends in September
Raise your glass to over 100 craft beers from across the state of Florida, as well as other national and international brews.
The SeaWorld Craft Beer Festival extends to four weekends in 2019, featuring 100+ brews on draft at locations around the park. Guests will enjoy unique food items designed to perfectly pair with the festival’s brew selection.
Weekends, late September through late October
SeaWorld Orlando’s Halloween Spooktacular immerses families in an underwater “fantasea” filled with trick-or-treating, whimsical characters, sea-themed activities and up-close animal encounters that could only come from SeaWorld.
Do you feel that chill in the air? Well, maybe not — it is Orlando, after all. But fall has arrived in The City Beautiful with plenty of seasonal activities to keep you busy. One of our favorites is SeaWorld’s Halloween Spooktacular. The boo-tiful festivities run weekends from Sept. 21 through Oct. 27. What makes SeaWorld’s Halloween celebrations unique to others in the area is that the party goes all day on Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. until close — rather than starting at dusk like many celebrations. We think this makes SeaWorld one of the happening spots around to celebrate Halloween with your younger tadpoles.
